TIPS
Raw brass tarnishes over time, this is due to the nature of the product. Elements such as air, water, oil, perfumes cause oxidation and tarnishing of this material. To remove oxidation, you can clean your pieces with ketchup (be careful with pale polymer pieces), or a little lemon juice with baking soda, rinse with water and then wipe well with a jewelry cloth. The acidic element will make the brass shiny and beautiful again. You can also use a store-bought oxidation remover. I recommend that you store your jewelry in an airtight box or bag.
